Thunderbird Gallery is known for an exceptional selection of native and local works of art. Art of the Northwest Coast is particularly emphasized.
Contemporary sculptures in stone, bronze and whalebone, as well as pate de verre, scrimshaw, jewelry in silver, gold, copper, and mammoth ivory highlight the Thunderbird Gallery collection.
Masks and other wood carvings feature work by renowned Northwest Coast and Canadian artists. Elegant, definitive examples of Inuit sculpture enhance the selection of Canadian art.

Her watercolor paintings encompass the globe, exploring life on the west coast, capturing the festival spirit of Venice, the peace of the Italian countryside, the flowered beauty of Claude Monet's gardens in France, the sun-drenched Cote d'Azur and the dramatic deserts of the American Southwest.
Reproductions are now available as Giclée on Canvas.
The Salt Spring Gallery has been doubled in size and now has the room to display Jill's new large canvases and vast array of images. A new entrance has been opened across from the Tree House restaurant.
Our newest gallery in Victoria is now open and greeting art enthusiasts from around the world. The gallery is located at 636 Fort St., just a few stores up from Government St.
