Salt Spring Lodge is located on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada.
The largest of the spectacular Gulf Islands, Salt Spring Island is situated off Vancouver Island, mid-way between Vancouver and Victoria. We are in the south-west "corner" of Canada — meaning mild winters and very pleasant summers.
As part of the Gulf Islands, Salt Spring is part of a broken chain of medium and small islands sheltered by the 300 mile long Vancouver Island. This gives us safe waters, spectacular scenery and a fascinating natural environment.

Salt Spring Island can easily be reached by ferry (with or without car) or by float plane. Or you can arrive on your own power-boat or yacht. There are three ferry terminals, with connections to Vancouver Island (Swartz Bay and Crofton) and the Vancouver mainland (Tsawassen). Float plane service is to the town of Ganges, and originates from various points including Vancouver and Seattle. For visitors coming from afar, the closest major airports are Vancouver and Victoria.
